How FOB Works With Us

No hidden re-quoting games: every price on this site is quoted on FOB unless you ask otherwise. Here is exactly what that means and what payment options exist at each stage.

Incoterms

FOB (standard)

Our default quoting basis. Price covers ex-factory cost + domestic trucking + export customs clearance, delivered on board at the named Chinese port. You control freight and insurance.

EXW

Pick up at our warehouse doors when you run your own consolidation forwarder in China.

DDP

Door-delivered duty paid for buyers without an import setup — quoted case by case since duties vary by destination and material.

Payment

T/T (standard)

30% deposit with PO confirmation, balance against B/L copy before shipment.

L/C at sight

Irrevocable letter of credit payable at sight — available for larger programs.

Escrow / Trade Assurance

For first trial orders — order value caps apply; details on request.

Claims & after-sale process

Under FOB terms, quality responsibility before loading is ours — fully and without ambiguity. Everything up to delivery on board at the named port is factory accountability: AQL findings are remedied before shipment, and any defect our inspection (or your third party’s) surfaces pre-loading is reworked, replaced or re-inspected at our cost — the goods simply do not ship until the standard agreed at PO stage is met.

The written trail makes this enforceable, not rhetorical: tamper-evident carton seals, loading photographs, and the lot numbers that trace every bag to its fabric roll. Once goods are on board, risk passes per Incoterms (marine insurance under FOB is the buyer’s domain) — yet concealed manufacturing defects discovered later remain traceable through those same lot records, and we resolve them on one of three routes agreed in writing: rework, priority replacement, or credit against the next order.

How an L/C at sight runs, step by step

  1. You open an irrevocable letter of credit at sight with your bank, matching the PI exactly — product, value, Incoterm, document list.
  2. We confirm the L/C terms before cutting fabric; discrepancies are amended before production, never after.
  3. Production runs with the usual inline and AQL records; inspection reports support the document set.
  4. Goods ship; we present the full document set (B/L, commercial invoice, packing list, certificates as required) to the advising bank.
  5. Documents verified clean — payment released at sight, and the order file closes with every stage on record.

Intellectual property protection

Your designs belong to you — in writing, by default. A mutual NDA covers every inquiry from first contact (no separate request needed), tech packs and artwork are stored in access-controlled systems, and customer-owned constructions are never offered to another buyer or shown as portfolio samples. On request we sign customer-specific IP agreements assigning design and tooling ownership unconditionally.

The reverse also holds: we do not quote against designs we know to be a third party’s registered property, and we flag look-alike requests rather than manufacture into a trademark dispute.

Sample policy

Pre-production samples ship in X working days. Sample fees are credited back in full once your order reaches the 2,000-piece MOQ.
